The Golden Langur is an Old World monkey found only in between the landscape of Sonkosh to Manas river and in the neighboring foothills of the Black Mountains of Bhutan. It is one of the most endangered primate species of India. Long considered sacred by many Himalayan people, the golden langur was first brought to the attention of the western world by the naturalist E. P. Gee in the 1950s. You will get acquainted with this beautiful primate while trekking in its abode of beautiful landscape. In this residential experience, the guests would be immersed into the jungle vibes by staying over for a night, camping at the base of the forest in igloo tents, treated with authentic Assamese cuisines and a beautiful cycling experience in the surrounding area.
My Name is Ankur Barman and I live in Bongaigaon. I am honest in my life's journey and I love to spend my time amidst nature. Nature is my second home and first life partner. I always worry about the future of our jungles. Nowadays, very few people think about it. I am trying to protect and conserve the forest areas in my home town and I love to show you my home, the North East of India.
